Originally found in compact broadcast and music consoles of the '70s, this discrete Class-A preamp brought the unmistakable musicality of its big brother—the 1081—into a smaller, rackable format. Now, you can experience its rich harmonic warmth, creamy saturation, and pristine signal path inside Genesis with zero latency and unmatched accuracy.

Classic Pedigree with a Modular Soul

Built in Cambridge around 1974–1975 and designed by Rupert himself, the 33115 used the same Class-A BA438 amplification and transformer-coupled output as the legendary 1081. While the 1081 lived inside elite 80-series consoles, the 33115 powered the smaller Melbourne and broadcast desks of the era—delivering tone and reliability in a streamlined format.

This Ethereum pack doesn’t just emulate the preamp—it recreates full channel strip chains combining the 33115 with 2254 compressors, MC76s, and Distressor emulations. Each chain was carefully captured at 192kHz, including tone variations like Unity, Sweet, and Gnarly.
