Exclusive to Genesis | Modelled at 48k | Powered by our High Quality Modelling Tier | Calibrated -18 with Red Drive at 0
The closest you’ll ever get to a full analog front-end and mix chain — inside the box.
For the first time ever, AnalogX has faithfully recreated the experience of tracking through a vintage 1064 line amp and mixing through an 4K G channel Strip — all in one seamless emulation chain. And because no two engineers agree on a single “right” way to mix, we’ve also added an A-PI-flavoured Silver Bullet console path for a punchier, more aggressive alternative.
This is more than a model — it’s a complete philosophy of workflow capture inspired by and paying homage to the worlds elite engineers that built and shaped our recording history. Recording and mixing through world-class hardware has shaped the sound of countless records for decades, and now, for the first time, that process is available as a drop-in emulation profile for Genesis.
🎚️ What’s Inside
All captures are powered by our High Quality Modelling Tier for maximum harmonic accuracy and dynamic realism.
🧬 A Brief History
The 1064 is a classic British channel strip revered for its Class A warmth, transformer-rich low-end, and a midrange that sits perfectly in a mix. Traditionally used as a preamp/EQ module in vintage Neve consoles, its character is unmistakable — thick yet refined.
The 4K G channel became a staple in mixing studios worldwide for its forward, polished sound, fast dynamics, and ability to make a mix sound “finished” before mastering. Its channel EQ and compression have defined countless hit records across rock, pop, and beyond.
The API- inspired SV Bullet path was added because of its unique American punch and transient energy — Engineers often switch between these flavours for mixbus work, drums, and guitars, and now you can too, instantly.
💡 Why It Stands Out
In the real world, tracking through a NV preamp and then mixing on a 4k is a dream chain — but it requires access to two completely different high-end consoles, meticulous gain staging, and a studio budget to match.
With AnalogX Super Chains, you can recreate that sonic journey from input to mixbus without ever leaving the box. No layering multiple plugins, no guesswork matching levels, no drift from the original hardware feel. Every nuance — from the transformer saturation of the 1064 to the mix-tightening dynamics of the SSL — has been profiled and captured in one pass.
The API Silver Bullet inspired emulations alternatives givee you another sonic colour instantly — brighter transients, faster attack on drums, and an undeniable energy for modern pop and rock.
