To maximize the performance of our emulations, please follow these guidelines:

1. Maintain Optimal Input Levels: Utilize the 18dBFS average rule when interfacing with Genome or BYOD to ensure the profile receives the correct level before adjusting the gain. Tools like Hornet VU can help manage your levels effectively.

1. Start with Default Gain Settings: Begin with the Genome main gain set to 0 (fully left). This starting point mirrors the associated gain parameter on your hardware. Increase the gain as needed and adjust the output level accordingly.
2. Increase the gain as needed and adjust the output level accordingly. You may need to adjust the output gain in Genome to realign low or high end balance. The process is easy once you understand how it works. With EQ it is just like analog, less is more! but as always, use you ears ;-)
