Released in 1972, the TEAC A-3340S revolutionised home and project studios by making multitrack recording accessible for the first time. With Simul-Sync® overdubbing and rock-solid Japanese engineering, it became a cult favourite of DIY producers, radio broadcasters, and sonic pioneers like Brian Eno. Its bold mids, analog squish, and unmistakable character made it a staple of 70s demos, indie albums, and iconic home recordings—now faithfully modelled for Genesis users.
