This pack is inspired by the German-made VTRC (Vintage Tube Recording Channel) — a hand-built tube channel strip combining mic/line preamp, transformer colour, passive EQ, and an opto compressor into one boutique unit. Known for its massive tone-shaping ability and silky-smooth compression, it became a favourite of engineers who want “finished” sounding results straight from the source.

The VTRC was one of the first channel strips to truly rival top-tier vintage gear while offering modern reliability. Its glowing tubes and high-voltage design gave it the signature richness and presence that defined countless vocal chains and full mixes. Retailing near the £2,500 mark, it’s considered a holy grail for analog colour — and now, we’ve brought it into Genesis.
