Digital audio has mostly eliminated unwanted distortion, but in doing so, it reminded us that distortion, when used musically, can be incredibly valuable.
With this in mind, AnalogX proudly presents our emulations of the Overstayer Modular Channel, a modern studio classic. While we have no affiliation with Overstayer, our emulation pays homage to the distinctive sound of this iconic device. We believe we have captured the essence of its signature character, allowing you to experience the unique analog warmth and subtle non-linearities that typical plugins often lack.
Our emulation covers both the line inputs and the preamp, with the "pushed" preamp profile delivering a rich, musical saturation—perfect for adding that extra touch of sonic magic. The line profiles are ideal for individual tracks, buses, and especially on the master bus, giving you the analog vibe you need when other plugins fall short.
Feel free to check out our A/B Demos below to hear the AnalogX Stayer 8755 Preamp & Line Emulations in action, and remember, we level match all of our A/B demos because we do not believe we need to add volume to our demo's to sell our products.
