Genesis is a transformative audio plugin that combines the sonic power of classic and modern studio gear with the flexibility of cutting edge digital signal processing. At its core, Genesis is designed to load emulations of iconic studio devices, and pays homeage to some of the finest recording and mixing gear, including preamps, tape machines, consoles, compressors, and EQs, all captured using both open source Deep Learning Modelling and also AnalogX’s cutting-edge technology. ________________________________________ Powerful Emulation Slots Genesis features 4 independent profile slots, allowing you to load and stack emulations of your favourite gear in series. Whether it’s recreating the warmth of a vintage preamp, the glue of a console summing bus, precision and sound of analog EQ, or the saturation of a tape machine, Genesis enables you to shape your sound with precision and ease. Each slot features high-resolution K-20 style dBFS peak metering for both the input and output stages of each Emulation slot, ensuring you can always monitor and optimize your gain staging. This level of precision guarantees your signal remains clean, controlled, and ready for processing. Our emulations are designed to thrive with lower input signal levels relative to digital full scale (0 dBFS). For best results, ensure you send an industry-standard -18 dBFS signal into Genesis as your starting point. This gain structure not only preserves headroom but ensures that each emulation delivers its authentic, analog-like tone. Each slot also includes its own wet/dry control, offering true sample-accurate parallel processing. Unlike some competitor products that introduce phasing artifacts when using neural network profiles in parallel, Genesis maintains absolute phase coherence, delivering smooth, pristine audio processing. ________________________________________ Sample Your Own Hardware With Genesis, you’re not limited to pre-existing emulations. Thanks to the revolutionary NAM (Neural Amp Modeling) architecture, you can sample your own analog hardware and load it directly into Genesis. Whether it’s your prized preamp, custom EQ, or boutique compressor, you can capture its exact character and sonic fingerprint and use it in Genesis. To make hardware sampling as accessible as possible, we’ve partnered with Tonezone3000, who currently offer a free and intuitive web-based platform for capturing your gear. Sampling your own equipment has never been easier, allowing you to integrate your unique hardware into Genesis and bring its magic into your mix with just a few clicks. Additionally, if you want access to premium high-resolution emulation packs, AnalogX has you covered with a growing library of expertly crafted profiles, ready to take your mixes to professional heights. ________________________________________ 2. Here’s an overview of the key components: 1. Profile Slots (4 Total) o Genesis offers 4 slots for loading emulations (profiles) of preamps, tape machines, consoles, compressors, EQs, and more.. o Each slot features:  Input and Output Meters: High-resolution K-20 style dBFS peak meters for precise gain staging.  Each Emulation Slot and GUI has it’s own Wet/Dry Mix Control: Allows for sample-accurate parallel processing, avoiding any phase issues common in other products. o Profiles can be loaded, their order swapped (coming in V1.1) and bypassed on and off the fly ensuring that your workflow is never interrupted only improved.. 2. Auto Gain / Manual Switch o Genesis offers an auto gain or Manual Switch on the main GUI for each your emulation slots. This works extremely well for when you want to hear what affect the emulation is having on your audio without being fooled by volume. o IMPORTANT Switch Autogain off when using compressor emulations, instead switch to manual mode and use the input and output volume pots. Due to the gain reduction this can causing the autogain to fight against the compression action. 3. One-Knob State-of-the-Art EQ o A patent-pending EQ designed for fast tonal sculpting. o Offers multiple modes:  Tilt EQ: Click the green EQ button at the bottom left of the EQ knob to scroll through and choose the EQ type you wish to work with on your chosen emulation, you can choose from Low Shelf, High Shelf, Bell, Tilt, or Smile Curve, and Reverse Smile Curve. o Pre/Post EQ Toggle: Choose to apply the EQ before or after the profile slot processing. o Use the Center Frequency slider to set your chosen frequency point 4. High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters o Each filter features 12dB, 18dB, and 24dB slope switches, allowing for precise frequency control. o Filters can also be set pre or post processing for flexible tonal shaping. 5. Main Drive Control o Each Emulation slot has a big red main drive knob, this allows you to drive into the emulation post plugin input and decide how hard you want to drive into the emulation, this drive knob is also mirrored on the relative slot UI section, allowing you to fine tune each of the emulations drive amount without having to click into the actual GUI portion of the plugin. We advise to always start with the Gain Drive at 0, fully clockwise and after setting correct input gain staging should you experiment with additional drive. 6. Signal Path Visualization o The signal flow of Genesis is clearly displayed, allowing you to see how your audio passes through the 4 slots, EQ, and filters. 7. ToneZone3000 NAM Sampling Integration o Genesis is compatible with NAM architecture, enabling you to load emulations or sample your own analog gear using tools like ToneZone3000. We would like to personally thank Steve Ack for the amazing open-source NAM technology he has provided to both the guitar world and also the pro audio world. We would also like to thank our direct partners Woody and Stanley at ToneZone3000 for allowing AnalogX customers to directly sample their own gear using the amazing free online NAM model. Simply click the Camera Icon at the top right of the plugin. This will take you directly to the Tonezone3000 Website where full simple step by step instructions are provided. It really is as easy as 1,2,3. 8. Global Controls 1 o Bypass: Instantly bypass the plugin to compare your processed and unprocessed sound. o Presets: Save, recall, and share your favourite Genesis configurations. o Settings: Access plugin preferences, oversampling options, and CPU optimization settings. 9. Global Controls 2 o Drive Screw: You can access the drive of any of the 4 emulations slots by simply turning the drive screw located to the right-hand side of each main slot selector at the bottom of the plugin With this interface, Genesis combines the depth and power of hardware emulations with modern flexibility, giving you complete control over your sound. ________________________________________
