🧬 A Brief History: The Manley ELOP+

The original (Electro-Optical Limiter) quickly became a legend in the world of vocal and mix bus processing. Inspired by the Teletronix LA-2A, the ELOP enhanced the formula with modern improvements — all-tube amplification stages (6922 and 5751 valves), precision VU meters, and transparent electro-optical gain control.

The update introduced a brand-new 3:1 compression mode, improved chassis and PSU design, and universal power handling — without sacrificing the beloved all-tube sound.

Whether used on vocals, acoustic guitars, synths, or the mix bus, these emulations deliver a signature sound: warm, round, and incredibly smooth.
