We’ve worked closely with a mastering engineer who understands exactly how to use the Titan in real-world workflows to capture its elusive signature tone—right at the sweet spot. Not overdriven. Not squashed. Just the silky-smooth harmonic shaping, clarity, and depth the Titan is known for.

Both profiles are captured with care at 48kHz and calibrated for exact mastering conditions, based on how the Titan is used by top-tier engineers in real projects.

To ensure exact hardware replication, the emulations are tuned to receive audio at -21 LUFS input with the Genesis red drive knob at 12 o’clock (unity). This gives you a "null-matching" experience—letting you sit right in the tone pocket the hardware was dialled in for.

Released as a flagship dynamics processor, the Titan was engineered for ultra-transparent compression with deep control over harmonic character. What made it truly unique was its "Character" control, allowing the user to shape the transient envelope with extreme musicality, and its ability to selectively clip or saturate in a highly refined way.

Unlike many compressors, the Titan offered full control over how and where harmonic distortion entered the signal path, making it perfect for mastering engineers who needed total command of their signal integrity without sacrificing musicality.
