How to use:

New Compressor Process (Genome Example).

We have updated the Compressor capture process that now ensures a better capture of attack and release compression curves and a mighty sounding analog compression sound, in fact we give you the true soul of the original unit.

To get the best our of the new updated emulations please follow these basic guidelines, but as ever, let your ears decide what’s best.

• Gain Staging – Ensure that the levels going into the profile are at -18dBFS average, peaking no higher than -12dBFS
• In Genome start with the Genome gain Pot at 0 (Not 5)
• You may have to turn up the main Genome output slider to compensate the level
• Now drive the Genome gain up until you achieve the sound you are looking for
• Adjust the Genome output level to ensure that the level pre and post compressor are the same.
• Save your settings as a preset in Genome

For other 3^rdpartyplugin hosts simply use the -18dBFS as a starting point and use your ears as to the best final sound
