🧬 A Brief History The Neve 2057 is a vintage 4-band equalizer developed in the 1960s and originally installed in early broadcast and mobile recording consoles. Designed by Rupert Neve himself, it features rare Germanium transistors that give it a sound unlike any modern EQ: smooth highs, dense mids, and thick, musical saturation. Known for its use on classic pop and rock recordings, it became a secret weapon among mastering engineers and producers who prized its character.

Due to its rarity and component ageing, genuine 2057s are now practically extinct. But thanks to Genesis and Ethereum modelling, NV-2057 preserves this sonic legacy in the highest possible fidelity.
